Federal Death Row Journals

Welcome to our new series of journal entries.. Several men on the row here in Terre Haute , Indiana have agreed to write their thoughts and feelings for this section.

Many of the attorneys representing those here, with legal proceedings pending, have advised them not to post writings, profiles and such on the internet. This warning is understandable. Government prosecution have consistently used writings, drawings and art against people on trial for murder and facing the death penalty. For this reason all journals are submitted anonymously (their identities known only to themselves and the DRS team). We have assigned a pseudonym for each author. This protects them, and allow them freedom to express their thoughts without fear of reprisals.

We hope this series will be of interest to our readers. Your comments and feedback are certainly welcomed.
