Profile Reginald S. Lewis
Poet Laureate of Death Row seeks pen pals, Is there anyone in the vast Universe and out in the
infinite cyberspace interested in corresponding with a poet? I am Reggie Lewis, a widely-published, award-winning
African American Poet, essayist and a playwright- ON PENNSYLVANIA’S
DEATH ROW. (Though recently, ACTUAL
EVIDENCE OF INNOCENCE was found in one of my unjust convictions)-
and details, court documents, transcript, are available, for those
who’re able to discern fact from fiction, falsity from truth. I’m an avid reader- the author of two self-published
books of poetry, and I’d love to engage in intellectual discourse
about poetry, Books, Writings, Writers, Music, films, and a plethora of
social issues with you. I’m 50 years young, muscular, healthy, and easily
pass for 32-35, I’m proud of my age, and have never abused drugs or
alcohol. I’m a non-smoker. I dig Jazz, oldies, easy listening music,
photography, and working out three times a week. I was recently
transferred to this prison- struggling to adjust to a brand new
environment- and so I need to meet new friends, who’re independent,
successful, computer literate, worldly, kind, sincere, compassionate,
spiritual, of any race or culture. I’m
an attentive listener, so feel free to talk about your life, hobbies,
careers, family, friends, educational background, pet peeves, and dreams.
