Hi, my name is Robert Johnson Van Hook A186347. I live
at the Ohio State Penitentiary - Death
Row on Coitsville – I was born January 14th, 1960, am 47 years old, Caucasian with Irish, Dutch, German and traces of Apache Indian in my ancestry. 1986 was the year I was sentenced to death and came to
death row. I was wrongfully convicted in violation of my Miranda rights,
and given an unjust death sentence. My religion background is very diverse. I’m a
Catholic Cistercian layman of Gethsemane Abbey
(LCG) who also practices Buddhist meditation and yoga. My studies are mostly history, comparative religion and
philosophy. Hobbies are limited to reading, listening to music,
exercising and some poetry and art work on an amateur scale. My work history includes construction, truck driving,
club musician (drums, harmonica and rhythm guitar), factory worker and
