My name is YoungBlood McGray and I am writing this letter from a death row cell in the great state of Arizona. I’m a 48 year old white male that loves to draw and had great ambitions of being a professional writer some day. But unfortunately God had other plans for me.

I had just completed doing an 18 year old prison sentence and after enduring a life time of hard labor and surviving in one of the most dangerous penitentiaries in the country. Just one month before I was to be released and set free I was suddenly transferred back to county jail where I was falsely accused of a 20 year old cold case homicide. I was taken to trial, convicted, and then sentenced to death on November 5^th, 2005 for a crime that I did not commit. Wow… Talk about having a bad luck day!

Well Death Row Speaks, if you can would you please post this letter up on your website for me! I sure could use a pen pal and some new friends. I don’t have any family out there and all the people that I knew in the past all turned their backs on me and ran away when I was falsely accused of this cold case.

I have a lot of really cool stories and thoughts that I wouldn’t mind sharing with someone, so… if you’re out there and you read this ad then please drop me a line and say hi!

You know, I just keep telling myself everyday that there must be a good reason why God has sent me here to this place of the condemned. There just has to be and maybe someone out there can help me figure it out!
