WELCOME to DEATH ROW SPEAKS

Please allow me to welcome you to the NEW VERSION of DEATH ROW SPEAKS!  On this website you will find much of the same information that was already on the previous version of Death Row Speaks; therefore, you need no further introduction.

Regular visitors to the old site will have noticed that Death Row Speaks has a completely new layout.  This new layout was chosen because of its simplicity and expression.  We think that this sober and sterile layout represents very well what the subject of Capital Punishment is all about.

This site is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher.  We have noticed that the website doesn’t look its best with a lower resolution.  In the future, we will try to have an alternative for people with a lower screen resolution.  We apologize for any inconvenience you may have in viewing our site.

All Federal and State Death Row inmates have been invited to share their profiles, their pictures and poems.  We have posted those who chose to accept this invitation.  At present, there are about 50 profiles posted.

We have collected a list of important links for visitors who are interested in learning more about Capital Punishment and all that is connected with this punishment.  This includes information about execution methods, the federal Death Penalty, the history of Capital Punishment, the Military Death Row and much more.

You will notice that our “Art for Sale” section has been transformed into one page with thumbnail sketches.

Our forum layout has been changed into the website’s layout.  Our aim is to keep the forum alive.

Many things have changed on the new site.  We sincerely hope that regular and new visitors enjoy this improved and expanded version of Death Row Speaks.  We encourage all visitors to send suggestions, remarks, news, information and opinions to webmaster@deathrowspeaks.info.  We would also appreciate visitors writing down their opinions in our guest book.

Death Row Speaks is an advocate website which opposes the Death Penalty.  Our mission is to increase awareness of the death penalty and provide information on related issues, to win additional support of our position, and to encourage activism on the part of our visitors.
