“Accepting you for who you are”

Ever need someone who’ll accept you for who you are?
Ever need someone who prefers
you to be yourself?
Here I am from a land afar,
I’ll accept you just the way you are;
and expect no more then you to be yourself!
If ever there’s a moment,
when you need someone who’ll listen.
If ever someone can reach out,
to comfort you when your tears glisten.
I’m here for you, for encouragement,
to help you through the day.
Someone who cares and is willing.
To help you along the way.
When you need someone day or night,
to share your days with, whether good or bad.
I’m only a pen and paper away.
Write me… allow me to help soften your
burdens away… again making them right.
Let’s share our bad days with an open heart,
Be attentive to one’s feelings and…
Be communicative, sharing the burdens of the heart
Let’s share our good days with laughter and smiles,
be happy and joyful, letting it be known.
You to me… me to you…
From across the miles.
Always remember, that there’s someone,
from land afar… who you can always turn to.
Who cares and “accepts you for who you are”.

A true friend
Frank
