- Tenga-Fe
- Then this is yours……. (To Carrie)

Tenga-Fe

Curse the sun, embrace the glare
Porous bone and fragile hair…… saying
Weaver, Holy Headed-
Holy Headed, weaver of mine
You created me

Do you remember that line from the back of my mind?
You are so – Beautiful.

I could crack straight through Tenga-Fe.
BELIEVE
and disappear into you.
I fall short, amount to less
This side of typical.
But, I swear, everytime I breathe- it feels so important.
Desire to touch your soul, fingertips tracing the surface
desperate to push right through

Wine at dusk, layed out on my lawn
a time when I am truly not alone
feeling the bed only we sleep on
Home, Home, Home
Check these off, things I will die without
ever having known.

I close my eyes and see the starlight
streaming around you, standing there
You seem so real, you must exist
but I can’t dig through to you,
can’t figure out where
but dread the day, my conscious mind
catches up to what my heart knows
as I feel dead inside
caught inside, self drawn lines
because you don’t even care.

If prayers are wishes, and wishes never come true
I knew when my eyes fall across your visage
all wished for is you
why?
Cualquiera. No impota
you know
El ve muchas estrellas en el cielo, pero to veo solo una.
Still, no comfort.
And if I go blind, I keep thinking
How will I know if the stars still shine?

You want something> A gem, a truth
That may be able to soothe.

Then this is yours……. (To Carrie)

I am not your star, a sun
to mark to coming horizon
I am the vanishing point, vague
and will be until you’re done.
To leave me in the shape you met me in
another ghost you watch, slip into a haze-
but, not a ghost of somthing begun
one you saw in the light of day,
I’m the one from which you run
alive I breathe out, breathe in
refusing to fade away.
