my name is Clay Barrett and I am the newest member of Let
me tell you something about my case. I
was at my home when I shot and killed another man in self-defense. From
the very beginning the authorities made this into a murder which it
definitely was not. The conspiracy goes past the local level and
involves the State Crime lab also. One would think that this type of
injustice could not take place in modern day Here
are some of the facts; An
old friend came by that was under the influence of Meth. Early the next
morning he assaulted my wife (we have since divorced), a fight broke out
and since we didn’t have a telephone I sent her to call the police. In
the fight he attempted to get a firearm and then a large rock and kill
me. After several attempts I ended up killing him. The state'’ whole
case rested on the founding’s of an Intern Medical Examiner. She had
only a few days experience working for the State Crime Lab. Her founding
was that the decedent was shot from behind which not what was happened!
Even though the State Crime Scene Investigator’s rulings on the
entrance / exit wound disputed her opinion, she constantly lied under
oath. For example she stated that an inch was “a little less then a
centimeter,” which in fact is .39 of an inch. She made wounds appear
to the jury to be more severe than they were. She testified that
“superficial wounds on the arms, legs and torso, contributed to the
cause of death. Also she contradicted herself when she testified that
the bullet was resourced then in other parts of her testimony said that
“portions” were resourced. One of the professional organizations she
claimed to be a member of doesn’t exist or if it does, I have never
been able to locate it after extensive search. The State Crime Lab is
supposed to do a toxicology of “all” mind/mood altering drugs. They
in an attempt to cover up the decedent’s use of methamphetamine that
morning, only checked cocaine and alcohol. Critical evidence never made
it to the crime Lab, and exculpatory evidence was withheld at my trial. In
the Southern States of America we have a term for internationally
wrongfully convicting a person. The term is called “RAILROADING.” I
was without “RAILROADED” in my conviction. If
anyone is shocked or doesn’t believe that convictions such as mine
occur, then let me suggest that they do some research for themselves.
Two books that would be a good place to start on these subjects are;
“The Death of Innocents” by Sister Helen Prejean, also author of
“Dead Man Walking”, and “Death and Justice” by Mark
Fuhrman. There is so much involved in my story of injustice that I
won’t bother to go into all details at this time. However, in the
future I will furnish more of the facts concerning my arrest, trial, and
conviction. Anyone
