The Christ in You

How I see the Christ in you
In all the loving things you do
Laughter, joy, deeds and truth
These are thraights of Christ in you
Similar are the burdens you bare
Anguish and pain with Christ you share
Tears, blood, violence and shame
Ravaged and broken your not to blame
Wounded heart that may be
The Christ in you makes clear to see
Living a life of rights and wrongs
The Christ in you keeps you strong
And at those times you lost track
The Christ in you brought you back
Honored and greatful I am to do
Reflecting this mirror of Christ in you.

Sweet and gentle morning dove
Fill me with your precious love
Sent from heaven, God above
Holy Spirit of the blood
Never lonely let me be
Loves embrace let me see
Ever mindful of The Word
In my heart it is heard
When your voice comforts me
Halleiluja. Glory be
Thank you for keeping me so strong
Through every day I toil along
