When
the Wind Blew
As
you go about your daily lives. Please put up a prayer for those affected
by hurricane Katrina. Pray for my family who live in
New Orleans
, that God gives them safe passage. Pray for my daughter who lives in
Miss. I have no communication with her mother so I have no idea how she
is. Pray that God keeps her
safe. Also pray for me. That God gives me peace to endure this ordeal
and what ever news I learn that I take it good. Also, if this whole
experience has you wanting someone to talk to, don’t hessitate to
write. My ear is always open.
While you drive down
the street or have some free time in your day. Stop by a church or a
ligitimate charitable organization and make a donation. Whether money,
clothes, or food. Anything you can spare.
They need us to do
everything we can to make a difference. We as Americans have gone
through some tuff times in these past 4 years. All types of calamities
have fell upon our heads, but we are strong, and this is another hurdle
(with God’s help) we will get through together.
As individuals, as
friends, and as a nation.
I gave some of my
miniscule account to go towards those in need. Please do the same.
God bless,
Brandon

When the Wind Blew
When the Wind Blowsthe Screams start,
the Water rises,
and the roofs drop.
Life has changed
but keep your hope.
Keep your eyes on God
to help you Cope.
Where is my son
that I love so much?
Where is my mom and dad
that I can not touch?
are they under debree
trying to struggle?
I can’t hear them crying
Cause their voices are muffled?
All those illabrit houses,
Where I was trying to be.
Have moved from there
and are down by me.
We all are poor
there is no color.
We all are alone
there is no other.
When the Wind Blew
Steel structures shivered.
People asked for help
and sadness and destruction delivered.
But reflected off the water
is the glare of the Sun
a new days has arrived
and the healing has begun.
Families helping families
all trying to survive.
Race helping race
all trying to stay allive.
All and All though
No one knew.
That we would be tested this much
When the Wind blew.
